Second-Contact Win Rate
2C%CS2v0.1.0 · experimental · validated 2026-07-16Computed · experimental. Values are computed, but the definition or model may still change.
What it measures
After the round's opening duel, how often does this player win the very next fight? Second contact usually decides whether an opening converts.
Formal definition
Wins in duels that are the round's second kill event, as attacker ÷ participations in second-contact duels.
Inputs
- ordered kill events
Exclusions
None beyond the standard confidence floor.
Sample & population
- Minimum sample
- 40 second contacts
- Baseline population
- Players in the same game/window
- Direction
- higher better
- Unit
- %
Percentile interpretation
High values mark strong follow-up discipline.
Confidence = source confidence × model confidence. Values from baseline models are capped at 0.7. Below-minimum samples display the value grayed out with no percentile.
Example
Opening lost, this player answers instantly on the follow-up → a second-contact win.
Known limitations
- Positioning intent (planned refrag vs coincidence) is not observable
- Rounds whose opening kill is never followed by a second contribute nothing in either direction
