Engagement Selection Quality
ENGFNv0.1.0 · baseline · validated 2026-07-16What it measures
Whether fights are taken from advantage: health/shield edge, elevation, and third-party risk at engagement start.
Formal definition
Per engagement initiated: +0.4 if HP+shield advantage ≥ 25, +0.3 if elevation advantage, −0.4 if another team within third-party radius. Averaged.
Inputs
- engagement events
- health/shield states
- elevation deltas
- proximity of other teams
Exclusions
None beyond the standard confidence floor.
Sample & population
- Minimum sample
- 30 engagements
- Baseline population
- Players in the same event/window
- Direction
- higher better
- Unit
- index
Percentile interpretation
Discipline metric: high win-rate fighters usually rank high here too.
Confidence = source confidence × model confidence. Values from baseline models are capped at 0.7. Below-minimum samples display the value grayed out with no percentile.
Example
Taking a height fight at full shield with no team nearby scores +0.7.
Known limitations
- Third-party radius is a heuristic constant
- Requires telemetry-grade capture; official pages do not expose it
